Safesea Group Overview

Safesea group is a leading shipping group which owns and operates a fleet of vessels providing sea transportation globally.

Founded in year 2006 by Dr. S. V. Anchan, the group is headquartered in New Jersey, USA. Safesea group has expanded its activities over the years and today it has a global presence with offices in USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark, UAE, India, Sri Lanka and Singapore.

Safesea group is one of the few groups that is empanelled with & is catering to Shipping & Logistics requirements of the United Nations, United Nations Peacekeeping Forces, World Food Programme (WFP) as well as the General Services Administrations of the US Government.

This empanelment has gained the trust and confidence of numerous governments, who use Safesea group’s services to carry their most sensitive cargoes under cage code, including those for the UN Peacekeeping Forces & WFP in nations where these services are most required.

As our group logo suggests we have a deep connect with the sea and we go wherever the sea is.

An international shipping group, Safesea had commenced it’s shipping and logistics voyage in the year 2006 from New Jersey, USA. This group is driven by the motto ‘Shipping is Our Religion’ and its business transactions, are driven by faith and devotion to customer satisfaction.

Over two decades ago I had felt the need to create a shipping entity which was high on transparency and customer satisfaction. I am happy to note that in Safesea group we have created various units which have earned laurels due to their out of box thinking and trust of their customers. Today we have presence in Ship owning and operations (Oil & Chemical Tankers, Dry bulk), Ship Management, Ship Agency, Multi-modal Transportation, Sea & Air Freight Forwarding, Warehousing and Custom Clearance, UN & Military Cargoes, Civil Nuclear & IMDG cargoes.
